What is the shipping time and what are the shipping costs?
The higher the order value, the lower the shipping costs!
*UK Orders: Customers are responsible for VAT and any applicable customs duties, which will be payable upon delivery. We do not charge UK VAT at checkout.

❗️Dreadshop sends out all the orders on Monday's and Thursdays.
Delivery options and shipping time
USA: FedEx shipping.
Netherlands: Standard postal shipping (Mailbox delivery available for smaller orders).
International: Standard postal shipping available to all other countries.
Once your order is handed over to the carrier:
- NL Orders: Processed by the carrier the same day.
- International: Processed by the carrier within 1 business day.
Custom Dreadlock Sets: Due to the handmade nature of these items, please allow approximately 2 months for fulfilment.

❗️Pre orders and back-in-stock products:
Note: for products that are temporarily not in stock, but can be pre ordered, different shipping times apply. When one of the products is not in stock the estimated shipping date will be indicated on the website.
❗️Dreadshop only ships to real, home addresses. We do not ship to PO boxes or Pick up Points. In the case of an order resend, where the original address has been stated wrong, the recipient will bear the shipping costs of the resend order.
Please check your countries tax policy if you are placing an order to an outside of the EU country. Dreadshop is not responsible for customs taxes or duties that may incur in your respective country.
Returns
Are the products not to your liking? Then in most cases you can return them.
Be aware: we can't accept any return shipments that are sent to us from outside the European Union due to customs. Read more below.
Once we have received your products and inspected them, we will process the order and the amount will be refunded within 14 days.
❗️You can only return products when:
- they are unused and in the original packaging.
- the order was received no more than 30 days ago.
Dread kits & Dread sets can only be returned as a complete package!
How does it work?
Add the packing form to the return products in the package.

Shipping costs for returning products are at your own expense.
As soon as we receive the return we will inspect the products, process them and refund the money.
❗️IMPORTANT:
Be aware: we can't accept any return shipments that are sent to us from outside the European Union due to customs. If you do ship a parcel to us from outside the EU, it will automatically be returned to sender. We have created a Facebook Marketplace where you can sell your goods. You can find it here.
Please be aware that if you've received a complimentary gift with your order and you choose to return any or all of the products from that order, you are required to either return the complimentary gift along with them, or reach out to orders@dreadshop.com to arrange payment for the gift product. Until the complimentary gift is either returned or paid for, the refund for the order will be placed on hold.
Please note for certain payment methods ( CreditCard and Paypal), transaction fees will be withheld from the refund amount when processing returns/ cancellations.
Exchanges
Unfortunately we cannot exchange your product. If you’d prefer to receive another product, return the product and then place a new order on the website.
Delivery from €25
We have set a minimum order amount of €25 EUR (excluding shipping costs) on our website. This means that you can only complete the checkout after having a minimum €25 worth of products in the cart.
Why does Dreadshop do this?
Due to rising shipping and logistics costs, we are forced to apply this change.
We use comparatively big amounts of cardboard for small orders and also the same transport costs as for slightly larger orders. This has a major impact on the sustainability of our shipping process and does not fit into our vision. Dreadshop has always tried and will continue to ship as sustainably as possible.
U.S. customers: Please note that due to import tariffs, we have set a $150 minimum order. All tariffs are included in the price, so there will be no extra fees upon delivery. At the moment, we only ship to the U.S. via FedEx.

Super that you would like to make an appointment to have your Synthetic Dreads installed in the salon of Dreadshop! We will be ready for you on the date and time you booked.
To schedule the appointment, we ask you to make a deposit. The amount of the deposit will be deducted from the total amount of your appointment.
The deposit is also a down payment. If you cancel or reschedule the appointment less than 3 working days in advance, this down payment will unfortunately not be refunded.
If you want a new set of dreads, but are not sure which color/style to choose, we will help you choose a set in the salon.
The appointment will take approximately 2-3 hours.
When your appointment is successfully booked you will receive an email from us for confirmation. It is possible that this will come in your spam inbox. If you don't receive an email then something has probably gone wrong, in that case send us an email: salon@dreadshop.com
Note: Unfortunately you cannot use a discount code when purchasing this product. If you do enter a discount code at the checkout, we are forced to cancel your appointment immediately.
Ik ben zo blij met mijn dreads. Goed gezet en het was gezellig. Ik schrok in eerste instantie wel van de prijs maar is het zeker waard. Ik heb rond de 70 dreads laten zetten. Ik kreeg goed en duidelijk advies en uitleg over de verzorging
