You can keep synthetic dreads in your hair for about 2 - 3 months. If you don't take them out after 3 months your regrowth will have knotted so much that it will be very hard to comb out.

Real dreadlocks

For making and extending Real dreads your hair needs to be at least 6 inches / 15 cm long. You can find more information here.
Yes, you can wash your Real Dreads. We recommend to not wash your hair or get it wet during the first four weeks you have your dreads. After this you can wash your Dreads with a special Dreadlock shampoo. Read more about maintaining your Real Dreads here.

Shipment
In the past we have had bad experiences with sending products in envelopes. They often got lost in the mail. That is why we now only send our orders with track and trace information, so you can always track the order.
When you go to the checkout on our website, you can fill out your address, then you will get an indication of the shipping time.
Dreadshop sends out the orders on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
Returns
Unfortunately, we cannot exchange your product. If you'd prefer to receive another product, return the product and then place a new order on the website.
Unfortunately you can't return dreads whe you have worn them. We have created a Facebook Marketplace where you can sell your goods. You can find it here.

The shipping costs for returning products are at your own expense.
Orders
As long as the products are still in your shopping cart, you can change products. When you have finished the order it is not possible to change your order.
If we haven't shipped out your order yet, we can cancel it for you. If you order already has been shipped, you can return your package within 30 days, provided you live within the EU. When you want to cancel your order you can send an email to orders@dreadshop.com
If you haven't reveived an email with track&trace code yet, you can email us at orders@dreadshop.com. If your order hasn't been shipped yet, we will change the address for you.
Yes, if you're ordering from the UK, VAT and customs fees will be charged upon delivery. These fees are not collected by Dreadshop during the checkout process or at any other point.
Payment
Because Dreadshop is a Dutch company, we only accept payment in other currencies through limited methods. You will find them during checkout.

Go to the login screen and click "Forgot your password?" Fill in your email address, you will receive an email with instructions and a link to create a new password. Create a new password and confirm this.
Click "Unsubscribe" on the bottom of the newsletter. Did you already delete the newsletter? Please send an email with your request to orders@dreadshop.com
