After about 3 months, the outgrowth of your own hair will be quite large and this will start to 'dread' by itself if you do not remove your Synthetic Dreads. Actually, this tuft of hair will become very tangled on its own.
If you leave your Synthetic Dreads in it even longer, there is a good chance that combing your own hair will be very difficult, because your own hair is already quite tangled.
We understand that you want to wear your Synthetic Dreads for as long as possible! Fortunately, our Dreadlocks are of high quality and you can wear them very often.
Our advice is to give your scalp and hair a week of rest after removing your Dreadlock Extensions. After that you can put your Synthetic Dreads back in (or have them installed again).
It is therefore nice to wash your Dreads yourself, this can be done on a cold wash or in the washing machine at a maximum of 30 degrees. Then hang out your Synthetic Dreads for a while and then they will be nice and fresh again when you put your Synthetic Dread Extensions in (or have them installed).
