What is the difference between Remy and Non-Remy Human Hair?
The big difference between Remy Hair and Non-Remy Hair are the hair cuticles. Remy Hair is human hair collected by one source or donor. The hair cuticles are intact and aligned in one direction. The root and tip move in the same direction, so that the hair cuticle does not get confused or matte.Non-Remy hair is also 100% Human Hair, but in that case the hair is collected in piles. With Non-Remy Hair, the roots are not aligned (the roots and ends do not move in the same direction). Because the hair cuticles run in both directions with Non-Remy Hair, a higher acid concentration is required. This ultimately results in hair with a very low moisture content, leading to dry (straw-like) hair.
High Quality Human Hair
Quality is super important at Dreadshop. That is why, together with my supplier, I went through all the requirements that the Human Hair must meet in my opinion. This makes our product truly unique and of the highest quality, so that you can work super fast and efficiently! The hair is also obtained from people who have been paid for this and have voluntarily donated it.Would you like to know how you can best care for Human Hair? Click here to read our blog.
