But what exactly is a Certified Affiliate?
Being a Certified Affiliate of Dreadshop means that the person has completed one (or both) of our Professional Dreadlock Stylist courses in which they learn all techniques in the field of Synthetic Dreads and / or Real Dreadlocks. And not only that, they also learn everything about photography, branding & marketing, basically everything to start a successful salon.
After completing this course(s) they need to successfully complete a number of extra assignments to ensure that they work with the same quality and techniques as Dreadshop, so that we know they deliver excellent quality work and we can confidently refer clients to them.
For the Professional Synthetic Dreadlock Stylist course this entails that the Affiliate can install synthetic dreads as well as make Synthetic dreads using the same techniques and in the same quality as our Synthetic Locks of Love.
And what is the difference with a Certified Install Point?
Our Professional Temporary Dreadlock Install course is especially developed for hairstylists, by Dreadshop founder Renate and Marjolein: founder of SaltyDreads.
In the course our students learn how to install Temporary (synthetic) Dreadlock Extensions using various braiding techniques and take their skills to the next level. The Install points work with our Renate’s Locks of Love and dreads from SaltyDreads.
I want to have Synthetic dreads installed, which of the two options is more suited for me?
You want to have Synthetic dreads installed and you are located far away from Dreadshop, so you want to reach out to either one of our Affiliates or Install points, but which is more suited for you?
That depends on your wishes! Do you want a custom made set of Dreadlocks in a specific color, thickness and/or length completely created to your own wishes? Then one of our Certified Affiliates is a perfect go to, as they can make a custom dreadset just for you.
Did you already purchase a set of Renate’s Locks of Love or dreads from SaltyDreads, and you just want to have them installed? Then going to one of the Install points near you is a perfect option! Even if you haven’t purchased dreads yet, you can also purchase them at the Install Point!
