How can you wash your Real Dreads? Step-by-step:
-
First wet your scalp and your Dreads well
-
Use a shampoo bar to spread and massage the shampoo over your scalp. Spread the shampoo all over your scalp. When using a Mesh Bag, wet it first and then rub the Mesh bag with the shampoo bar in it over your scalp. If you don't feel comfortable going over your scalp with the Shampoo Bar, rub the Shampoo Bar between your hands so that you apply the shampoo to your hands and then massage your scalp. Do this for a few minutes.
-
Then rinse your scalp and your Dreadlocks clean with water.
-
Then use the Liquid shampoo, pump about 4-5 pumps of shampoo on your hands. Apply the Liquid shampoo to your Dreadlocks, so not to your scalp, only to your dreadlocks. Rub the shampoo in with your fingers by using your fingers like a comb and sliding it through your dreadlocks. Then squeeze your dreadlocks out a bit.
-
Rinse your scalp and dreadlocks again with water. By rinsing your scalp again, you ensure that no shampoo residue remains in the roots of your Dreadlocks.
-
Squeeze your Dreadlocks as much as possible.
-
Then let your Dreads air dry or wrap your Dreads in a towel so that the towel can remove a lot of moisture from your Dreads.
-
If you wish, you can then use the Dollylocks on slightly damp dreadlocks to 'stick' all the loose hair back to your dreads. This way you will have beautiful, tight Dreadlocks after your wash. Serum
