Work them away by:

• Placing the Dreadtool, just a bit, through your dread (from the bottom to the top)
• Place the strand of hair in the opening of the Dreadtool and close the hook
• Pull the Dreadtool, with the strand of hair back through your dread
• The strand of hair is now in your Dreadlock
• Use a crochet hook to make sure the strand of hair knots into the dread
