What is the shipping time and what are the shipping costs?

The higher the order value, the lower the shipping costs!

Dreadshop ships packages all over the world with different shipping companies.

The shipping costs of your order will depend on different factors.

You can best check the shipping costs relevant for your order at checkout. Our system will calculate the right shipping costs for you there.

❗️Outside the EU, customs clearance costs are charged on parcels. Dreadshop is not responsible for these costs. Please check your countries import/ export policies.
*UK Orders: Customers are responsible for VAT and any applicable customs duties, which will be payable upon delivery. We do not charge UK VAT at checkout.

❗️Dreadshop sends out the orders on Monday and Thursday outside of NL, FR ,BE and DE.
For NL,DE, FR and BE we ship Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Outside of EU: ParcelPremium shipping
EU: Parcel Plus / DHL (NL, BE, DE, FR)
Customized products will take longer to ship as we need on average 7 - 18 business days for realisation of the custom order

** Please note that at the moment we do not offer a detailed tracking for shipments to Australia, New Zealand or Canada. Packages might take up to 30 regular days to be delivered in those locations.

Pre orders and back-in-stock products:

Note: for products that are temporarily not in stock, but can be pre ordered, different shipping times apply. When one of the products is not in stock the estimated shipping date will be indicated on the website.

Dreadshop only ships to real, home addresses. We do not ship to PO boxes or Pick up Points. In the case of an order resend, where the original address has been stated wrong, the recipient will bear the shipping costs of the resend order.
Please check your countries tax policy if you are placing an order to an outside of the EU country. Dreadshop is not responsible for customs taxes or duties that may incur in your respective country.

Returns

Are the products not to your liking? Then in most cases you can return them.

Once we have received your products and inspected them, we will process the order and the amount will be refunded within 14 days.

❗️You can only return products when:

they are unused and in the original packaging.
the order was received no more than 30 days ago.

Dread kits & Dread sets can only be returned as a complete package!

Returning an order paid with Klarna? Here’s What to Do ❗️

If you paid with Klarna and want to return your order, please do not open a dispute with Klarna. Instead, follow our regular return process:

1️⃣ Send your return back to us as per instructions above.
2️⃣ Once we receive your package, we’ll contact you and process your refund within 7 days of receiving the return.
3️⃣ Klarna will update your payment accordingly after we finish.

Be aware: we can't accept any return shipments that are sent to us from outside the European Union due to customs. If you do ship a parcel to us from outside the EU, it will automatically be returned to sender. We have created a Facebook Marketplace where you can sell your goods. You can find it here.

Please be aware that if you've received a complimentary gift with your order and you choose to return any or all of the products from that order, you are required to either return the complimentary gift along with them, or reach out to orders@dreadshop.com to arrange payment for the gift product. Until the complimentary gift is either returned or paid for, the refund for the order will be placed on hold.

Please note for certain payment methods ( Klarna, CreditCard and Paypal), transaction fees will be withheld from the refund amount when processing returns/ cancellations.

Exchanges

Unfortunately we cannot exchange your product. If you’d prefer to receive another product, return the product and then place a new order on the website.|

Delivery from €20

We have set a minimum order amount of €20 EUR (excluding shipping costs) on our website. This means that you can only complete the checkout after having a minimum €20 worth of products in the cart.

Why does Dreadshop do this?

Due to rising shipping and logistics costs, we are forced to apply this change.
We use comparatively big amounts of cardboard for small orders and also the same transport costs as for slightly larger orders. This has a major impact on the sustainability of our shipping process and does not fit into our vision. Dreadshop has always tried and will continue to ship as sustainably as possible.

Dreadlock Extensions

Meet these Thin Renate's Locks of Love! High quality Synthetic Thin Dreads!

The Thin Renate's Locks of Love is a Dreadlock made of high quality Synthetic Hair, which does not contain a chemical coating.

The method with which the Dreadlock is made ensures that these Dreads last for years.

The colors used are unique in their kind and all composed by me. Not a single Dread consists of one hair color, but is a mix of different shades to create the most natural Dreadlock possible. The Ombré colors also consist of uniquely mixed color tones.

These Thin Locks of Love have loose ends, which gives them a natural look. The Dreads are lightweight, which makes wearing them extra comfortable.

And because I want to contribute to a better environment, Renate's Locks of Love are delivered to you without plastic packaging.

Practical information:

A bundle of Dreads contains 12 DE or 16 SE Dreads

For a full head you need 4 bundles of Dreads

The Dreads are 0.16-0.24 inch / 0.4-0.6 cm thick

The difference between Single Ended and Double Ended Dreads

Your hair must be at least 2.8 inch / 7 cm long

Dreadlocks for both men and women

We recommend using two bundles of Single Ended Dreads and two bundles of Double Ended Dreads for a full head with these Renate's Locks of Love. A combination of both types of Dreadlocks gives the best volume.

Do you want less volume or do you have thinner hair? Then choose three bundles of Single Ended Dreads and a bundle of Double Ended Dreads.

Do you want more volume? Then choose three bundles of Double Ended Dreads and a bundle of Single Ended Dreads. Or choose for the Renate's Locks of Love.

I love my full set! I went with the thin and am so happy. They are light weight and much easier to manage than my other set bought elsewhere. They are a bit stiff but I’m breaking them in nicely. I have been wearing for 2 weeks now and still so very happy!

Die Dreads sind sehr hübsch. Leider sind sie auch sehr kratzig, dadurch habe ich immer wieder Hautirritationen. Aber das ist wohl der empfindlichen Haut geschuldet.
Trage sie jetzt seit zwei Wochen und langsam kommen viele einzelne Haare aus den Dreads.

Got my locks they are beautiful I love the length but very rough and stiff.
Also the bottle of Dolly Locks leaked a bit.

Thank you for the kind words and liking our products! At first they might seem rough but with wearing them, they get more natural :) You can also use Dollylocks conditioner to make them softer, mix it with the Refreshening Spray for example.
