Get a completely different look with the Locks of Love

With dreadlock extensions, you can easily wear your hair a completely different color, without having to bleach it to achieve a beautiful, vibrant color. You can also easily switch between different looks. After three months of wearing one color, you want a completely different color or style? No problem! And while wearing the dreads, your hair will relax from all the styling, coloring, and product use. Sounds ideal, right?

Nicole

She is a great example of a completely different look! She has already worn several colors of Locks of Love, in more natural shades to match her dark hair, but this time she opted for a much lighter set in the color Sand Storm. Because Nicole's hair isn't very long, her darker braids aren’t very noticeable because they’re quite short. Because she chose this ombré set with a dark blonde top, the color difference is less dramatic than if she had chosen full-length dreads in Honey Blonde. A super cool look!

Lilian

She's been dyeing her dark hair for a long time when she started going gray, and now it's reached the point where almost all her new growth is beautifully gray, and she wanted to stop dyeing and embrace her natural color. However, if she cut off all her dark hair, it would be really short, and she didn't want that. That's how she came up with the idea of dreads, because she really likes the look, and dreads would allow her to bridge the growing-out process more smoothly, while still sporting a cool hairstyle. She chose Grandma Gray dreads to help her get used to gray hair. Every three months she keeps coming back with more gray hair and less dark hair, and therefore a grayer braid. A great way to let your color grow out!

Stella

She loves to wear her hair in different styles, and our Locks of Love are perfect for this! Because she has so much hair, she shaved the sides and back. For her very first set of Locks of Love, Stella chose the Maroon and Red Maple Locks of Love. Her own hair is quite dark and isn't very long, so it doesn't stand out much against the red dreads. Even though Stella doesn't wear a full head of dreads, the Locks of Love provide plenty of volume. Dread extensions are perfect for easily changing colors again and again without damaging your hair!

Sanne

She had her eye on the color Maroon for her first time wearing dreads, but also really liked Oaky. With these two colors together, the set didn't feel complete to her yet, so we also added a few dreads in Go Ginger to make it even more vibrant. Sanne also wanted to add a few braids in a mix of Copper Brown and Green, plus some yarn embellishments around the dreads in autumnal shades. This cool set, incorporated into Sanne's dark blonde/brown hair, creates a completely different look, which is exactly what she wanted!
